Grocery Shopping

Marden Village (2 miles)

This is one of our nearest places for the smaller more personal shops.  Marden has a butcher, green grocer’s and a selection of good shops for it’s locals. The post office is located in a shop in the centre of the village near the Library. There are two pubs in the village, the Unicorn and West End Tavern.

Goudhurst Village (2 miles)

A pretty hill village with Weeks the Baker’s shop, small store, newsagents and others. The countryside is stunning and the views from the top of the church are glorious.

Cranbrook Town (5 miles)

Cranbrook has unusual shops, a windmill and a Co-op supermarket for groceries.  Well worth a visit and is en-route to Tenterden Town.

Tenterden town (12 miles)

Apart from many antique shops and its wide tree lined high street, groceries can be bought at either Tesco supermarket or Waitrose.

Paddock Wood (7 miles)

A Waitrose supermarket can be found.  They also have Barsley’s Department Store.

Pembury (12 miles)

Just off the A21, you can locate a Tesco Supermarket.

Tunbridge Wells (15 miles)

Sainsburys larger supermarket is located at the bottom of the town beyond the Pantiles.
