Gaelle, Marc & Ewen, Brest France - We spent a very good week in this lovely cottage! The weather was sunny so we've done a lot of beautiful balades. We discovered the charming city of Rye, we ate a delicious fish & chips, it was really great! We've also been to London (so effervescent!), to Rochester (beautiful cathedrale), to Eastbourne and so much more cities we really enjoyed it! Kent is such a splendid shire!

Isa, Franck, Blanche, Henri et Marie, Dunkerque, France - We had a really time in Little Dodges, we had seen plenty of various things - castles, gardens and shopping in London Streets - we actually walked a lot and enjoyed the comfortable beds in the evening=). The best thing, and also the most incredible is that we haven't seen the famous english rain!
It was a nice week in a lovely place, where we enjoyed english food - scones and cheesecakes - landscapes MERCI =) My stay in your cottage was very enjoy. I am not very good at English but I still want to write a note for you. I love Little Dodges, its so beautiful. And, I like London too, we have done a lot of things and it was very interesting and super. Your cottage is comfortable and very nice. Thank you very much. |

The English people are really welcoming and Joanna and Paul are living proofs. Thank you very much for everything, our stay at Little Dodges contributed to get us away from it (nearly) all. The children loved their stay too. The country side must be splendid during Spring or Summer so we'll come back. London is only 1 hour by train (from Marden). Thank you very much. See you soon! |

Jan Broeders, Holland - Your cottage was a very good place for "exploring" Kent. We saw a lot of interesting places eg Leeds Castle, London, Canterbury, Chartwell, Lowne House etc. Before we were aware of it, the week was over. As you know, there are no certainties in life, but we do know, we will come back. Thank for your hospitality. By the way, the weather was great!! |

Wim & Carla Heijboer, Victoria Kourel, Geervliet, Holland - We have had a fantastic week in Kent and visited so many interesting estates and gardens We also enjoyed London for one day. Travelling by train to London was a great tip Paul. Also Green Cross Inn served a perfect fish dinner. The rural surroundings of Kent are beautiful. We enjoyed our bike trips (little steep now and then!) The cottage was perfect, very well furnished and equipped, we really felt at home.

Peter & Sylvie and family, Gent, Belgium - We had a great week in Little Dodges. The children had a great vacation. It started with the Enchanted Forest (with its giant swings in the trees). In Hastings we saw the boats coming up the beach. In the Bedgebury Pinetum they loved the play trail. We also went to London by train. The children were impressed by Hamleys, the big toy store and lots of other things. In Downe we saw the house of Charles Darwin, very beautiful house and garden and a room for children to play. Even in the Sissinghurst garden there was a searching quiz with photographs, the children loved it,
When we came "home" they ran to Harry the horse or Timmy the tortue, nice animals. We learned to know Kent as having very very friendly people and full of activities for children! Thanks. |
